SHREYA SHIJU

Hi! I'm Shreya Shiju from STEMthegap and we are a student run organization based in Bangalore, India. Our goal is to reduce the gender gap in science fields by introducing underprivileged girls to real-life science from a young age. We've found that government schools and low cost private schools in India don't have the resources needed to support and further girls' education, especially in physics, chemistry, computer science, or maths. We're currently fundraising Rs 1,15,000 to help sponsor 1 years fees for a deserving girl student, and create and distribute our own STEM books. Please check us and our fundraiser out @project_stemthegap on instagram or facebook.
